A disagreement with my colleague…

Today, I was exhausted very much because I had a disagreement with my colleague. I had been getting along with the colleague, so the disagreement was very shocking for me…

We had a meeting today and I gave the colleague some advice to work more efficiently. I found that the colleague’s face turned pale. The colleague told me that what I said sounded condescending. In addition, the colleague told me not to advise as I was not the boss.

Hearing the words, I had mixed feelings of surprise and disappointment. It might take time to understand each other. I hope someday we can work together without any disagreement …

In conclusion, what I learned was…

•Prepare logical reasons when there is a different reaction from others

•See the best timing that others can accept my opinion (Today, I might make a mistake in finding a right moment…The colleague might be in a bad temper.)

I have to learn from the mistake to improve my communication skills!!
