I have been women’s pro wrestling lover for about 30 years. Firstly, I had started watching All Japan women’s pro wrestling when I was an elementary school student. I loved wrestlers who were experienced and skilled. One of my favorite was Suzuka Minami. She was called as ” A textbook of pro wrestling”.
She looked so modest that she, I think, was regarded as a plain wrestler among many aggressive competitors. However, I loved her perfect and accurate move. Especially, I was so excited to see “Quebradora con giro (a kind of backbreaker)”. Nowadays, I do love to find a wrestler like her.
By the way, today, I watched Royal Rumble of WWE as I was intersted in three Japanese female wrestlers Asuka, Io Shirai, and Kairi Sane. While I was watching the battle royal, I felt a little boring because it was a mess. Although their entrance performance looked so professional, their moves in the ring were not that great.
On the other hand, the audience there seemed to be so excited to watch it. It made me feel that “What is the definition of Good pro wrestling?”
I know it differs among people, but I really want to know the difference…
